Call for Posters
Deadline: 31 January 2026
Posters on new discoveries and research in the field of Roman archaeology will be displayed centrally throughout the RAC/TRAC 2026 meeting at Aarhus. First authors of posters are expected to attend the meeting in person for a poster presentation session.
Poster proposals will require the following information for the online submission form here:
https://forms.gle/ehJ6TvCbKtsEjALn8:
- Title of Poster
- Author information (affiliation, email address)
- Co-authors information (affiliations, email addresses)
- An abstract of no more than 100 words indicating the general subject of the poster, whether this is a completed project, work in progress, new initiative, etc. and the context of the project, i.e. large-scale research project, PhD research, developer-funded project, independent study.
For consideration, each poster proposal must be submitted no later than the 31 January 2026. Poster proposals will be reviewed by the RAC/TRAC Scientific Committee and authors of accepted posters will receive confirmation and guidelines by mid-March 2026. The Scientific Committee will aim for a well-balanced, inclusive and diverse poster portfolio.
The official RAC/TRAC languages are English, German and French. Abstracts and posters can be in any of these three languages. RAC/TRAC 2026 also invites posters in Danish, Spanish, and Italian. However, if any language other than English is used, an additional English-language abstract should be submitted on poster acceptance, for inclusion in the final programme book. If the poster is in any of these languages other than English, a summary text on the poster must be in English.
